Heading to my hometown, Waco. As I sit here and reflect on life, loved ones, goals, dreams, past endeavors; the only thing I end at is you should regret nothing. Folks, don’t go through life rushing. Don’t go through life wishing you had made more phone calls to the ones who are important to you. Don’t go through life assuming people know how you feel. Don’t go through life putting off that trip to visit someone. We get one shot at this life. There was an amazing woman I met when I was 11. She was like a second mother to me. She and her husband showed me humility and taught me that self worth and self confidence are two of the most important things a person can have. I know she is in a better place but it still hurts to know I did not get one last hug or to tell her how big of an impact she had on my life. I know that she knows I am grateful to her, but nothing eases the grief you feel when we lose someone we hold so close to our heart. Penny, I could write a book on all of the wonderful life lessons I learned from you. I contribute so many qualities to you and I miss you so much.
